Fundraising Event #1 – “Wednesday 1st June 2011, Plymstock United Church, 3:00 – 5:30, 7:00 – 9:30. Come and join the fun in the afternoon, enjoy some musical performances in the early evening and a Praise Party to have fun worshipping God!”
Now, I know this event has passed and gone and I’ve said thank you to so many people so many times… but I honestly mean it! The day went fantastically and everyone had a great time throwing wet sponges at the minister :P (Except me, I never got round to it *gasp*… I’ll just have to do it next time). The evening of worship and praise went down a storm too, God was really there and again we had great fun praising His name.
The event (including sponsored songs and other one-off donations around it) raised me a whopping £651.86!!!!! So a MASSIVE thank you to all who supported me prayerfully and financially and those who helped it go as smoothly as it did, I honestly couldn’t have done it without any of you guys or God! So cheers once again and I will keep you updated on upcoming events (when I’ve finished my oh-so-wonderful exams)!
